Transportation to our facilities
Below is a list of services provided by local community agencies and veteran’s service organizations to assist individuals with improving access to VA care. While the list is reviewed periodically in an effort to maintain current information, it is subject to change without notice. Also, to ensure optimal assistance, please provide these agencies with sufficient notice of your transportation need.
Erie VA Medical Center & Public Transportation
DAV Volunteer Transportation Program is operated and coordinated by Disabled American Veterans to provide eligible veterans with safe transportation for medical appointments to and from VA Medical Centers.
Eligibility: To be eligible to use this service, you must be an honorably or medically discharged veteran or have a service-connected disability.
Cost: There is no cost for these provided services.
Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Reservations: A request for transportation must be made at least 7 days in advance of scheduled appointments.
