Speech Pathology

The Audiology and Speech Pathology clinic provides diagnostic and rehabilitative services to veterans demonstrating speech, language, voice, cognition, swallowing, tinnitus, balance, and hearing disorders. Services offered include, but are not limited to: audiological evaluation, hearing aids and assistive listening devices, VA Compensation and Pension examinations, employee hearing conservation screenings, swallow function studies, evaluation and treatment of voice, fluency, certain cognitive disorders, and hearing aid repair.

Consideration for hearing aids requires a referral from the Veteran’s VA Primary Care Physician. Eligibility for hearing aids is based on the degree of hearing loss found on examination. Hearing aid repair services are available on a mail-in basis, for VA-issued hearing instruments. Walk-in service for hearing aid repair is also available; please call the clinic for availability, at 717-272-6621, extension 4582.
