Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation
The goal of the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation program is to enable Veterans and eligible family members to regain optimum functional mobility and independence to maximize their quality of life. Diagnostic and therapeutic services are individualized for inpatients and outpatients referred for neurological, musculoskeletal, and vascular conditions. Veterans and eligible family members will be assessed for adaptive and mobility devices, prosthetics and orthotics, home modifications, and rehabilitation programs to maximize functional mobility. Physical Therapy services are also available at the Berks, Cumberland, Lancaster, and York VA Clinics, and Occupational Therapy services are available via video telehealth at both the York and Cumberland VA Clinics.

- Orthopedic Rehabilitation care
- Vestibular Rehabilitation and Balance training
- Wheelchair Clinic for specialized wheeled mobility
- Powered mobility evaluation
- Home Based Primary Care Occupational and Physical Therapy services
- Cognitive evaluations and training
- Evaluation for home modifications through HISA grants
- Evaluation for and issue of appropriate durable medical equipment
