Hours of Operation

The outpatient pharmacy is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, and is closed on Saturday, Sunday, and all federal holidays.  Holidays are listed on the following web site: (http://www.opm.gov/Operating_Status_Schedules/fedhol/)

Medication Refills

The pharmacy processes over 3,000 prescriptions daily. Many of these prescriptions are filled by the Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP) in Hines, Illinois.  For medications that you take on a regular basis, you should place your prescription refill request as soon as you receive your supply of medications. Because the medications may be coming from Illinois, do not wait until you are almost out of your medication to place the refill request.

You can refill your prescriptions by one of these methods below:

  • Online
    Go to http://www.myhealth.va.gov. Log in to your account and click on “Prescription Refill” or “PHARMACY” to refill your prescriptions.  If you do not have a My HeatheVet account, register today at http://www.myhealth.va.gov and take advantage of the online resources!
  • Phone  
    1. Call 1-800-409-8771 or 717-272-6621 for the Automated Telephone Refill Line
    2. Press 3 for medication or pharmacy needs
    3. Press 1 for the automated refill line
    4. Follow the automated instructions provided on the phone to refill your prescriptions
    • This refill phone line is available 24/7, however, prescriptions will only be filled Monday through Friday.
  • Mail
    Mail in your refill slips to:
