The Voluntary Service Program provides supplemental support to the medical center staff in both direct and indirect patient care. This program has accountability and responsibilities for the medical center and Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs). There are volunteer opportunities in virtually every service at the parent facility. The clinics with volunteers have similar, but customized volunteer assignments for their specific entity.

Donations

Donate Time and Treasure
All donations should be brought to Building 18, Room 152 between the hours of 8:00 am and 3:30 pm Monday through Friday excluding Federal Holidays.

Cash or check donations: Please call us to determine current needs. Checks must be made payable to the Lebanon VA Medical Center and earmarked appropriately.

Books and Magazines: (we are not accepting books at the current time)
We will accept:
•   Paperback books in excellent condition with
        front/back covers
•   Weekly magazines no older than 1 month
•   Monthly magazines no older than 3 months

We will not accept:
•   Hardback books of any type
•   Books and magazines that have been stored for long periods of time
•   Any magazine older than 3 months
•   Guns/hunting magazines
•   Knives magazines
•   Detective/murder magazines
•   Magazines with men/women dressed 
         inappropriately

Clothing
We will accept: (we are not accepting clothing at the current time)
•    Men’s clothing in clean and wearable condition
•    Women’s clothing in clean and wearable 
         condition
•    New underwear and socks

 We will not accept:
•    Used underwear and/or socks
•    Soiled or torn clothing
